Kelechi Iheanacho, Leicester City’s forward was not able to play in the Nigeria – Serbia match, 777iGame discovered, because Iheanacho broke a bone in his hand before the friendly match last March 27. He is arranged to be evaluated by the medical team of Leicester City before Saturday’s trip to Hove Albion and Brighton for the Premier League.
Nigeria National Team Coach Gernot Rohr announced Iheanacho’s injury before the match started last Tuesday, and said that Iheanacho will not be able to play due to the fracture in his first metacarpal.

This injury is a blow to the Nigerian international player as he has been finding his place in the team, with only 1 goal despite 15 appearances in the league this year. The 21-year-old, who moved from Manchester City to Leicester, signed a 5-year contract.

We at 777iGame are far from medical experts, but from what we have seen with other athletes, a bone break like that could keep Iheanacho on the sidelines for quite some time.
It will be a very expensive endeavor for Leicester because we at 777iGame checked Iheanacho’s contract and the player is earning roughly 115,000 British pounds per week for the duration of his contract. Given that his performance in the team has been lackluster, Leicester will find it a bit hard to find another team to take on his salary. We do hope that Iheanacho can get back on his feet and into the field soon, so he can prove to his team that he is worth his contract.
